In a rather depressing turn of events, it's starting to become a very real possibility that I will be stuck stateside again this semester. The Bulgarian government (including the embassy) won't be back in the office until Wednesday, and they've been out for the holidays for the better part of the past two weeks. I don't grudge them their holiday time to spend with their families and take a break, it's just frustrating as hell. Looking at postponing my departure to next week to give it a little more time, but if it's not in by then, it's looking like Charlotte will be as far as I am going this semester.
